Thank you for visiting Deskscanner. The protection of your personal data is important to us. This page explains how we handle your data.
1. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the GDPR is:

Contact: via our contact form.
2. Information collected when visiting the site
When you access this website, our hosting provider automatically records general information (server log files), including the type of browser, the operating system used, your ISP's domain name, your IP address, the previously visited page (referer) and the date and time of your visit.
Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest) to ensure smooth operation and to improve our service. The data is not combined with other sources and is deleted after a short period.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States. Each access transmits technically necessary data to the hosting provider. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.
As the hosting provider is located outside the EU, transfers are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
4. Cookies
This website does not use cookies. No information is stored on or read from your device beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the site.
5. Analytics and tracking
This website uses Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service provided by our hosting partner Vercel Inc. (see section 3). For each page view we record the URL visited, the referrer, your browser and operating system, your device type, and a country derived from your IP address. Your IP address is hashed before storage; no cookies are set and no information is stored on your device.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used and improving it. The service does not build user profiles and does not share data with advertising networks. We do not use any other analytics or tracking tools.
You can object to this processing under Art. 21 GDPR by using a privacy-focused browser, an ad blocker, or a Do-Not-Track extension that prevents the analytics script from loading.
6. External links
This website contains links to external third-party websites (coliving operators and Google Maps for location display). When you click such a link, you leave our site and become subject to that third party's privacy practices, which we do not control.
7. Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
To exercise these rights, please reach us via the contact form linked in section 1.
8. Right to complain to a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). A list of German supervisory authorities is available at www.bfdi.bund.de.
9. Changes to this policy
As the website develops or laws change, we may need to revise this policy. The current version is always available on this page.
